ThorpyFX The VETERAN (Si) Vintage Fuzz and Boost PedalAs the third Pedal in their "Vintage Reimagined" Series ThorpyFX presents the Veteran (Silicon) NATO Edition. This is a combined Pedal offering you their take on the very best versions of the Sixties silicon Fuzz (Think Smiley) and Rangemaster style silicon treble booster in one pedal. Sonically they have made this pedal identical to vintage units however the Veteran (Si) is quieter and much more flexible than the original units.
There are two independent foot-switches to control each side. The fuzz is first and it runs into the Treble/mids/Bass booster. There are six knobs split between two effects. The Fuzz side has controls for Fuzz, Volume, Smooth and Bias. Smooth controls the input impedance to the circuit and gives you a less bass heavy, smoother fuzz. Bias controls the overall "heat" available to the circuit, increasing output volume on tap and the amount of mids in the circuit.
The Boost side has controls for Boost, and Range, allowing you to choose what frequencies to boost, from Bass heavy through mids focussed to treble. Combining the two effects gives you absolute tonal armageddon, but still provides a musical and tweakable effect. To ensure that the pedal is useful to use on your pedalboard the width has increased to approx 4" to allow for the two footswitches. I have designed the pedal to work using a standard 9V centre negative power supply so you will be able to use the pedal on your pedalboard.
This is the V2 version, sonically identical to the V1 version, only smaller and can only be powered via 9V power supply.

My dogs love all things Chuck it! And this did not disappoint. I was concerned that since it was made of color scraps it may come apart, like the orange ones do. I have 2 serious chewing Belgian Malinois. But so far this ball is staying the distance and boy does it bounce!

This ball is heavier than the original.

The ball is heavier-duty. I love the colors but my dog (border collie mix) and I are not a fan of the extra weight. He didn't like catching it and it was harder to use with Mr. Chuckit. He plays with it in the house. I would highly recommend it for big dogs and big chewers!

Awesome for hyper dogs

AWESOME - I have a dog that just won't stop trying to get me to play with him ALL day! I turn this thing on and he goes nuts and tires himself out...without any help from me. The cover got torn off and torn up in minutes but he doesn't care. He just wants this ball. My other dogs, who are older, aren't really interested. But if you have a hyper dog this is the thing for you and them!

Great entertainment, charges quickly!

Super fun entertainment for dog! Toy ball charges quickly and the charge lasts for at least an hour of playtime for the dog. There are 2 modes. one mode Just lights up, which makes it easy for pet to chase it. The second mode not only lights up, but it also wiggles on the ground Randomly and speeds off in a direction on its own, which really makes it interesting for your dog or cat to follow! Once the ball is not touched for about thirty seconds, it goes dormant and it will stay like that As long as it's charged until somebody touches it, and then it starts up randomly lighting up and moving around the floor on its own And making a vibration noise. It's a lot of fun to watch the dog chase and play with, and it certainly keeps them entertained for a while! The laughs and fun entertainment are definitely worth it. The only downside is that my dog chewed off the soft fabric covering in about twenty minutes.And she's not a real big chewer. It looks better with the covering on it, but even without it, the ball works fine and she plays with it every day.So that is not a showstopper. But good to supervise your dog for safety.In case they are a chewer, and they decide to destroy the cover. But the ball works fine without the cover too!
